A. No. Coraline is not a Tim Burton movie. Tim didn’t have anything to do with the making of Coraline. It’s directed by Henry Selick and produced by Claire Jennings.



Q. What’s your favourite Tim Burton movie?
A. The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands and Vincent



Q. What’s your least favourite Tim Burton movie and why?
A. Planet of the Apes. Just because the story doesn’t appeal to me. I don’t like any of the Planet of the Apes movies, not just Tim’s.



Q. Tim Burton didn’t direct James and the Giant Peach or 9! Why did you post them?
A. I’m fully aware of what movies he’s directed and not directed. Tim Burton produced those movies and I do post movies that he’s produced.



Q. If you post movies that Tim has produced, why don’t you post Batman Forever gifs?
A. I decided not to post any. Tim Burton was supposed to direct the movie, but Warner Bros threw out Tim after they realised the tone of the film would be similar to Batman Returns and not make as much money as they wanted. Tim was then asked to restrict himself to the role of producer instead. Apparently Tim Burton’s only involvement with Batman Forever was approving Joel Schumacher as director and Lee and Janet Scott Batchler as the writers. so I don’t really think I should post gifs of it.

A. Nope. It’s not a movie.



Q. Will you post gifs from Tim’s new movie trailers?
A. I’m afraid not, I really don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. There are loads of people that don’t watch trailers so they don’t see any part of the movie until they see it in cinemas. If you look through the ‘Tim Burton’ tag, you can find loads of gifs from the trailers.

Q. Can you make a specific gif for me?
A. Yes, as long as it’s a Burton movie. But please, before sending me a request, look through here for the gif.

Q. Why don’t you answer Coraline related asks anymore?

A. Because I get SO many people requesting it, telling me that I’m wrong and that it is a Tim Burton movie when it’s not, people arguing with me about it etc. I keep going over the “Coraline isn’t a Burton movie.” subject again and again and I’m tired of answering those asks and I’m sure my followers are tired of seeing it.
