I guess it’s just a matter of opinion. It’s the same as someone loving a band and another hating them, people have different tastes. 

the unfair thing is when people only see one Tim Burton movie and then just decide that because they hated the movie, then they hate Tim. If someone has seen a bunch of his movies and then still don’t like his stuff then that’s fair enough, his movies aren’t going to please everyone and there will always be people who dislike him and I think that’s fine. He has tonnes of fans who adore him so I don’t think it matters that much.
